What is Global Sport Sunday ?
On Global Sports Sunday we are calling on the body of Christ worldwide to to pray for the world of sports… the most extraordinary untapped mission field in the world today!
Sport has a significant impact on cultures around the world. On average, more than half of the world’s population participates in a sports community weekly… not to mention the number of people who regularly come into contact with sports through media and other sources. Parents, trainers, fans and volunteers all are touched by the power of sport.
Therefore, through the Global Sports Sunday, we want to help Christian communities worldwide to pray for-, connect with- and serve within the world of sport.

On Global Sport Sunday we are challenging chuches to connect with the community of sport. Often sport and faith sseem to be standing rivals but what if the church can bring the power of unconditional love to the world of sport!?
